COVID-19 RESPONSE

Dear Clients, Licensees, Rightsholders & other DALRO Stakeholders,

These are difficult times for our sector. We would like to inform you about the measures taken to ensure the safety of our employees, our authors, artists and our customers and ensure the continuity of our activities.

Measures Imposed by the Government

As part of a progressive response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, the South African Government has imposed a National State of Disaster as of 15 March 2020. This has culminated in a 21 Day National Lockdown imposed from 26 March to 16 April 2020. In order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the lockdown imposes a number of travel bans, the restriction of movement, as well as the suspension of a number of public activities. For more information on COVID-19 and South African Government's response to this pandemic please refer to the South African Resource Portal COVID-19 Corona Virus available at https://sacoronavirus.co.za

Measures Taken by DALRO

As part of the restrictions imposed as part of the National Lockdown, DALRO's physical office at SAMRO Place, Braamfontein, is closed effective 26 March 2020 until further notice.

During this pandemic, DALRO will continue to service all licensing needs and will be operating at full capacity, just remotely.

As we do our part to limit the spread of the virus, all of DALRO's employees will be working from home until further notice in order to guarantee the continuity of our activities and services.
