Reprographic Reproduction Rights |
|
Reprographic reproduction rights are the rights required by an institution, organisation or business in order to make reproductions (e.g. photocopies) from copyright-protected works. Reprographic reproduction rights are granted by DALRO by issuing either a transactional licence or as part of DALRO’s blanket licence scheme. By mandating their works to DALRO, local publishers and authors give DALRO the authority to issue licences for the reprographic reproduction of their copyright-protected works. DALRO is also part of a wider community of Reproduction Rights Organisations (RROs) affiliated to the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFRRO); through this membership, and the bilateral agreements signed between sister organisations, DALRO is also able to issue licences for the reprographic reproduction of foreign publications.
